2010 NASW Alaska / AkCA Annual Conference
The 24th Annual NASW-AK Conference—held in conjunction with the Alaska Counseling Association—will be held at the Fairbanks Westmark Hotel on October 6, 7 and 8th. This year's theme is "Pulling Together—Across Cultures, Communities, and Disciplines."

Buy a T-shirt and support the conference!
Short- ($18) and long-sleeve ($20) T-shirts are now available! Choose from navy, maroon, or forest green. Sizes S-2XL. To order a T-shirt, contact Pick up your shirt downtown in Fairbanks, or have it mailed to you for a small additional fee.

General Conference Information

Airfare:
Alaska Airlines offers a special NASW conference rate. Visit www.alaskaair.com and enter ECCMB1375 to receive a discount. Discount applies to all flights in Alaska coming to Fairbanks between October 3rd to October 12th.

Accommodations:
The conference has partnered with the Westmark for group reservations. Single/Double rooms are $84/night, tax not included. Make reservations by calling (907) 456-7722 or toll- free (800) 544-0970, and mention the “conference discount.”

Auction & Scholarships:
Members are encouraged to bring donations for the annual silent auction – the major chapter fundraiser. Silent auction bids and scholarship raffle will close on at noon on October 8. Winners will be posted on Friday afternoon.

Note on Discounts:
Conference discounts are provided by NASW and cannot be applied to lodging or travel. Discounts on accommodations and airfare are not provided by NASW.

Books and Resources:
The latest publications by keynote speakers and quality resources from our exhibitors will be available for purchase.

Cancellations:
All requests for refunds must be in writing. You may email director@naswak.org to cancel. There is a $25 fee for cancellations prior to September 19th. Requests after September 19th will be assessed a 25% fee. No cancellations after the conference begins, please.
