Social Work Licensure in Alaska

Multi-level licensing and title protection legislation in Alaska regulates the practice of all professional social workers by licensing at the bachelor's, master's and clinical levels. A long established priority of the NASW Alaska Chapter, licensure establishes standards for the practice of social work, provides consumer protection for clients and gives social work recognition as a unique and specialized profession in Alaska.
